Homework Due 11/21 – B Day

Periods 1B & 2B:

  1. conduct research on your topic(s)/era/decade and take notes (online or on paper). Use the “OHP Setting Summary” as your guide. Make a COPY if you would rather take notes online.

As a result of your research you should be able to describe the history and culture of the time.

  • Research the setting/era using credible sources
  • Make sure to identify your sources so you can properly cite them (CMS/Chicago)
  • Include details about the history and culture of the time/era.
    • For example if your interview is about President John F. Kennedy:
      • What was the culture (clothes, entertainment, education, family life, etc.) of the time?
      • How was the economy? Were there any major economic downfalls? Highs?
      • What new inventions changed society?
      • What were some key events?
      • What was going on in foreign and domestic policy?
      • How did the media cover key events?
